Who are we you ask?

We are the Joe Shuffleton family of Hamilton, Virginia. Hamilton is a small town about an hour drive west of Washington, D.C. We have been in Hamilton since September of 1984 and love this semi-rural area.

There are three of us in the family: Joe (Dad), Cookie (Mom) and Jeff (son). The son is making the website. Dad and Mom work together in Dad's civil engineering firm and I am in charge of Operations for an On-line News company. We are very excited about building our Factory Five Cobra. Dad and I will be doing the actual work, while Mom will provide support services, whatever they may turn out to be.
 

I've always had a passion for cars. Can't get enough of them. I hope my father feels the same way. You see this being early December, My mother and I came up with this idea as a Christmas Gift for my dad about 2 months ago. I've been studying my financial situation for a while and figured I could not afford this alone. So I got my mom involved and, with a little luck, we'll surprise Dad for Christmas.
With the rumors of a 2-3 month backlog on the SS-CARS/forum site, I pushed to order the kit early. Right after Christmas, we will order the rest of the options Dad likes.
 

Mostly normal maintenance. I have a 94 Mustang GT I've been upgrading. I've done most of the work myself, which included a New Upper and Lower Intake, and installing a 9lbs. Powerdyne SuperCharger. My father and I installed the supercharger back on July 4th weekend of 96. We had a good time doing this together so I think he might love doing this. Aside from that, I've not done much more.
 

My father and I are scheduled to go to the Class on January 29th-31st, 1999. I'll update the Journals when I come back from the class.
