Senior Registered Engineer

Mr. Valentine started his structural engineering career in 2009 as an engineering intern with Engineering and Technical Consultants, Inc. (ETC). After obtaining a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2012, Luke quickly moved up the ranks being promoted to the positions of Project Engineer, Registered Engineer and later Senior Registered Engineer. Over the past 10 years, he has gained experience and further developed his knowledge in the evaluation and correction of deficiencies in existing structures and structural components, including parking garages, balconies, facades, wood-framed structures, retaining walls, steel structural elements, pavement, masonry, and concrete. Luke enjoys working closely with property managers and building owners to find the most practical and cost-effective technique to maximize building serviceability.
