Senior Structural Engineer – Building Rehabilitation and Repair

ETC was established in 1982 to provide specialized professional engineering services principally to the owners of buildings and public works, property managers, and other design professionals. Consultation services provided for the rehabilitation and restoration of roofing, pavement, masonry, concrete, waterproofing, and reserve studies. Services range from design of new or replacement systems to troubleshooting those that already exist, as well as comprehensive and routine inspections, construction observation, construction management, materials testing, personnel training, and forensic engineering.
The Structural Rehabilitation Department has immediate openings for a Senior level Structural Engineer (10+ years’ experience) in our Columbia, Maryland and/or Sterling, Virginia Office(s) to investigate, design, bid, and monitor a wide range of building structural deficiencies in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This includes the repair of masonry façades, concrete balconies, parking structures, plaza waterproofing, retaining walls, and building settlement conditions on a wide variety of structures including high-rise residential, commercial office buildings, low-rise apartments, shopping centers, and historic structures.
