1. I am an Eagle Scout. The people and experiences it took to achieve this had a big influence on my life.
2. Jeeps are my passion and I've owned several over the past few years.
3. I enjoy driving (Jeeps) and will often head out on back roads to see where they take me.
4. The Ravens, Terps and Orioles will always be my favorite teams, no matter their records.
5. I have a younger brother who is a lot like me, just unfiltered and louder. Maybe this is why we fought so much growing up.
6. Thanks to the perfect dog finding his way to our house last Christmas, my wife has joined me as a devoted "dog person".

8. A perfect way to relax is to sit and do nothing (preferably on a beach).
9. Sixteen days on a bus to Yellowstone National Park with the Boy Scouts is one of my favorite adventures. Mount Rushmore, Badlands, Jackson Hole, white water rafting on the Snake River, Devils Tower, Wall Drug and swimming in hot springs are experiences I'll never forget.
10. I always finish my drink, mainly because I can remember my Grandfather saying that "If we ever want anything else to drink, we have to finish what we had." He was not a fan of waste.
1. I worked as a residential carpenter, building additions, basements, bathrooms, and kitchens from start to finish for 11 years before joining the ETC team.
2. Music is a big part of my life. I’m currently the rhythm guitarist and backup singer in a bar band that gigs several times a month.
3. I went skydiving this spring for the first time, and it may be one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
4. I recently started riding motorcycles, thanks to a long line of riders in my family.
5. I considered going to college to be a chef, then realized the long hours and hot kitchens weren’t for me. I now cook for enjoyment.
6. People may think that internet dating is a little strange, but that is how I met my wife. We’ve been married almost four years, and together almost eight.
7. When I was younger, I had several piercings that I wore on a regular basis. I had two earrings in each ear and a labret which was a stud between my lower lip and my chin.
8. One of my long term goals in life is to be a contestant on Jeopardy. Don’t know if I will ever make it, but I will keep taking the online test and hoping.
9. In high school, I was on the track and field team for three years, pole vaulting for two and throwing javelin for one. Turns out I was too short to be competitive in hurdles.
10. I currently have two cats, Keenan and Kira, and also hope to get a dog. I’ve had pets (cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, gerbils) my entire life and can’t imagine how quiet it would be without them.
1. I’ve never once been intoxicated. I like to remember what happened the night before and I usually have some funny stories to share with others.
2. Prior to starting with ETC, I worked as a finish carpenter. I have a well equipped woodworking shop and love making things. I would probably be a furniture maker if I didn’t hate sanding and staining so much.
3. When I was younger, I would eat insects to earn extra money. Did I say I was MUCH younger?
4. I once placed 2nd in a beauty pageant. If the other contestant hadn’t played it up for the judges by blowing kisses and holding stupid teddy bears, I’m sure I would have won. (I was robbed!)
5. I briefly played guitar in a rock band (Shoji) during high school. We came in 2nd place in the school talent show. Not bad except there were only two bands competing.
6. One year I spent weekends helping an ex-girlfriend capture and tag wild field mice as part of her college thesis. I never got over her method of tagging the mice…don’t ask!
7. I enjoy motorcycles and most think I’m a talented rider. However, the truth is I can’t ride a decent wheelie (yet) and I’ve dumped every dirt bike I’ve ridden.
8. I don’t understand why anybody would want to go up in a hot air balloon. The concept of floating in a flammable object, operated by an open flame, several hundred feet above the ground, is just idiotic!
9. I have two large aquariums and a goldfish pond. I even have a catfish (Striped Raphael) that has been with me since high school….he’s over 20 years old!
10. Although not as proficient as I used to be, I love shooting, especially sporting clays. When a prize is on the line, I rarely miss
1. Let me start by saying that I am an animal lover, a tree-huger, and a veggie eater. I have a thing for foxes and owls, cherry blossoms and orchids, strawberries and tomatoes.
2. Back in primary school I used to get in trouble for speaking during class. The teacher had me sitting next to her desk, and I would still talk… TO HER! I can be quite a chatter box.
3. At various points of my teenage years I wanted to be a veterinarian, an artist, and a psychiatrist, but at the end of the day they were not stimulating enough.
4. I love to dance. My incursion into the dancing spotlight started with ballet lessons at a very young age. I can proudly say that I am skillful in ballet and Raqs Sharqi.
5. I dislike cooking with a passion but I love baking wholeheartedly. I literally cannot prepare an egg Benedict for the love of my life, but I can humbly say that I am a skillful pâtissier.
6. My guilty pleasure? Belgian chocolate and coffee; they make everything better.
7. I am OCD-ish, with a big emphasis on the “ISH.” I have a compulsion to color-code everything: clothes, shoes, books, accessories, you name it! And hell will break loose if my system is messed with.
8. Although I’ve been living in the U.S. for the past 13 years, I still go through cultural shock from time to time.
9. Dubai is on by bucket list. But I wouldn’t mind going to Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland… and the list goes on and on.
10. I am quite a contradiction. I am shy yet outgoing, I am quiet yet loud, I am happy in my own company yet enjoy being surrounded by people, I love the hectic city life yet I need the solitude of Nature’s great outdoors to recharge energies
1. I am recently engaged! He popped the question on our way to San Francisco for our 4th of July vacation.
2. I have never been out of the country, but I did drive across the US during my senior year spring break. I even made it without getting a speeding ticket! (Parking tickets are a different story…)
3. I played the lead in my high school’s production of South Pacific. Please don’t ask me to act, sing, or dance now though!
4. During college, my fiancé and I hosted a radio show called Mild Confusion on our campus radio station. I doubt you would ever have heard it unless you were a night owl – we had the 2:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m. shift!
5. I’ve been told I was born in the wrong generation. I’ll take the Monkees, Mamas and the Papas, the Beatles, and Herman’s Hermits over any of today’s music.
6. I absolutely love to bake! I even thought about dropping out of college and starting my own bakery back in the day.
7. I’m not a vegetarian, but I only eat chicken and turkey. I can’t stand the taste or texture of red meat.
8. I worked at a pizzeria throughout high school. I got really good at carrying large trays of pizza and pasta. And I never dropped a plate or cup!
9. I’m allergic to pistachios.
10. It’s hard to do in the Washington DC area, but I grew up a Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
1) I played the paperboy in the movie Runaway Bride which was filmed in my hometown of Berlin, MD. I also got to eat lunch with the star, Julia Roberts.
2) I am an Orioles season ticket holder.
3) I understand the importance of job site safety; when I was 17, I cut part of my finger off with a circular saw.
4) I played flanker for the UMD Rugby team for two years in college.
5) I have a chest where I save every card/note anyone’s ever written me.
6) I’ve walked across the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
7) When I was a baby I was nicknamed Diesel after Redskin’s running back John Riggins. I think it had to do with me weighing over 10 lbs at birth.
8) My favorite color is black.
9) I have three siblings and we all have biblical names: James, Luke, John and Rachel.
10) I can’t sleep without the sound of a fan blowing.
